The Institute : Asian School of Business Management (ASBM) is an autonomous institute recognized and approved by AICTE, Govt. of India to impart quality management education, benchmarking the IIMs with high focus on applied research and industry interface. and yet to arrive at consensus. Whatever be the nature of constituents of leadership, it is the leader who leads the organisation to assume the commanding heights through benchmarking qualities. This becomes visible when the individual organisation passing through various stages of business cycles, acquires supremacy at some stages, loosing strength on to the other, making the organisation related business people to feel the difference. That difference makes the individual's requirement inevitable in the organisation and that is the quality requirement of the leader. Inevitable retention of leaders in professionally run organisation has become an order of the day at present. Even the comparatively young IT sector has started reinducting professions even after their superannuation. In this context of leadership dilemma, this has become a challenge for the leaders to maintain the tempo of buildingup high performance teams for future direction. In this process, the greatest challenge is to groom a team for the generation to come and also to maintain the level of growth already acquired through cutting edge technology and creating a recession resistant environment.
