How does a citizen analyze the various myths and facts about the ACA? How is “Obamacare” connected to the recent government shutdown/debt crisis? To the presidential ambitions of potential candidates in 2016? To the policies of political parties? To agendas of interest groups/lobbyists? How is the success or failure of the ACA connected to a farm bill, immigration reform and financial reform? How might it be central to the Obama legacy? How is the Affordable Care Act flawed? How serious are the glitches in the ACA website? Is healthcare.gov the main issue or is the ACA unacceptable to some groups? Why is the response to the ACA so emotional? Is it useful to assign blame to some one or some government agency? Why or why not? Why are some health insurers cancelling policies and raising rates for coverage of previously insured Americans? How are the new ACA patient protections in the law causing some insurers to raise rates? What are those protections? Why is creating a law so complicated?
