If a holiday falls on Saturday, it is normally observed on the preceding Friday. If a holiday falls on Sunday, it is normally observed on the following Monday. In the event that any of the Company-observed holidays fall on a Saturday, the holiday will typically be observed on the preceding Friday. Alternatively, if the holiday falls on a Sunday, the holiday will typically be observed on the following Monday. To be eligible for holiday pay, full-time employees must either be in a pay status by working their regular scheduled hours for both the workday immediately before and after a holiday or be in an approved paid time off status for both the workday immediately before and after a holiday. Employees who are in a non-pay status such as LWOP for the workday immediately before and after a holiday are not entitled to receive compensation for that holiday. *JLMI will comply with the provisions set forth within the Service Contract Act (SCA) of 1965 guidelines and Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) as applicable.
