Avoid the Walk-in Wait With online check-in, you can choose a convenient time for treatment and wait at home. The typical urgent care experience can involve long waits in a crowded waiting room. That’s not how you want to spend your time. We get it. That’s why we offer InQuicker, a free, online check-in service for treatment of minor injuries and illnesses at our five urgent care or quick care centers. To use InQuicker, simply log onto LakeHealth.org, click on the “Urgent Care Check In” box, and choose the time and facility where you’d like to be treated. Then, you can rest at home or go about your day until it’s time to be seen. Marc Malinowski learned about InQuicker while up late one night with his 11-year-old son, Bobby, who suffered from seasonal allergies. “I was looking online to find out the urgent care hours, and it gave me the option to go ahead and reserve a time.” After filling out a quick form, Marc had an approximate treatment time the following morning at the Willowick Campus Urgent Care Center. “We respect our patients’ time, and InQuicker lets us deliver care in a way that is more convenient and less stressful for our patients,” explains Joe Popely, director of Lake Health Occupational Services and Ambulatory Centers. “The goal is to minimize wait time and maximize time patients spend with our doctors and nurses.”
You should know:
Marc was impressed with the service. Bobby was given medication to reduce his allergy symptoms, and the family was able to get on with their day. “It was relatively quick and easy. I will definitely sign up before going to the urgent care the next time.”

The reports rate how well hospitals across the nation protect patients from preventable medical errors, injuries, accidents and infections. Check the safety scores of the hospitals in your area at HospitalSafetyScore.org and use that information to choose a health care provider.
