Sponsorship, Exhibition & Advertising Opportunities The New Zealand Psychological Society (NZPsS) is the largest professional association for psychologists in New Zealand with over 1800 full and student members. The aim of the NZPsS is to improve individual and community wellbeing by representing, promoting and advancing the scientific discipline and practice of psychology. The NZPsS holds an annual conference and this year it is in Auckland. The NZPsS is marking its 50th Jubilee and this will make this a special Jubilee Conference. The theme of the conference is Te torino haere whakamua, whakamuri—The spiral of connection: Psychology in the past, present and future. This theme signifies the interrelatedness between the past, present and future. Conference participants will be encouraged to remember the past, celebrate the present and consider ways in which psychology can evolve and change to promote individual and community health and wellbeing. Keynote speakers at the conference include: Siautu Alefaio is Senior Lecturer, School of Psychology, Massey University. She has worked within various applied psychology contexts in education, health, social services, community, family violence-prevention, forensic rehabilitation and disaster response across New Zealand, Australia and the Pacific. Her research expertise draws on extensive applied psychology experiences to develop a NIU (New Indigenous Understandings) psychological research platform for re-informing psychological theory and practice. Tania Cargo (Ngāti Maru, Ngāti Manu, Ngāpuhi), is a senior lecturer at The University of Auckland, in the Department of Psychological Medicine, where she coordinates the post-graduate diploma in child and adolescent mental health, and the child and adolescent CBT papers. As a Māori psychologist Tania is particularly interested in ensuring that whānau receive culturally responsive treatment. Her specialist areas include infant and child mental health, CBT and parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT). She has co-authored several chapters on Māori psychology, PCIT and CBT. Margaret Dudley, PhD Te Rarawa, Te Aupōuri me Ngāti Kahu is a Clinical Psychologist who has had a long-standing interest in neuropsychology. Her current role is lecturer on the Doctorate of Clinical Psychology programme at The University of Auckland. She worked in community health settings and private practice for 18 years conducting neuropsychological assessments for both paediatric and adult clients. Anthony Grant, PhD, AU, is a Coaching Psychologist. He holds a BA (Hons) (first class honours) in Psychology, a Masters of Arts in Behavioural Science and a PhD. The title of his PhD thesis was “Towards a psychology of coaching: The impact of coaching on meta-cognition, mental health and goal attainment” and is one of few doctoral thesis that explicitly examine Coaching Psychology. He is both a practitioner and an academic. Anthony established the world’s first Coaching Psychology Unit at the School of Psychology at Sydney University where he is the director. Philippa Howden-Chapman is Professor of public health at the University of Otago, Wellington, where she teaches public policy. She is director of He Kainga Oranga/ Housing and Health Research Programme and the New Zealand Centre for Sustainable Cities. She has a strong interest in reducing inequalities in the determinants of health and has published widely in this area, receiving a number of awards for her work including the Prime Minister’s Science Prize in 2014. Patrick McGorry, AU is the Executive Director of Orygen, Professor of Youth Mental Health at The University of Melbourne, and a Director of the Board of the National Youth Mental Health Foundation (headspace). He is a world-leading researcher in the area of early psychosis and youth mental health, and has a strong interest in promoting the mental health of the homeless, refugees and asylum seekers. John Sommers-Flanagan, USA, is a clinical psychologist and Professor of Counselor Education at the University of Montana. He is author or coauthor of over 60 professional publications and eight books. He has been publishing articles, book chapters, and videos on suicide since 1995 and is a sought out keynote speaker and professional workshop trainer in the areas of (a) counseling youth, (b) working with parents, and (c) suicide assessment/intervention. As part of the conference, a 3 day exhibition will also be held. Advertising Opportunities

Satchel Insert - $400

Every delegate who attends the conference receives a conference satchel containing the official conference programme and inserts providing information on a range of products and services. By purchasing an insert, you can directly reach a target audience of psychologists and affiliates across New Zealand and beyond. In the past we have included pens, pads and small promotional items - these are a great way to get your organisation noticed. Flyers or adverts must be no larger than A4 size and a maximum of four pages. Please send a sample to the conference coordinator by: Friday 11 August 2017.

Programme/App Advertisement 1/2 page - $300 1/4 page - $180

The conference programme will contain the extendedprogramme details for the 2018 conference. Biographies for the keynote speakers and workshop information will be included, plus general abstracts for symposia. Features include brief programme outlines, maps of the venue and details of social activities. Exhibitors’ details and sponsors will also be listed and acknowledged. Please note: there is a limited number of advertisements accepted for the conference programme, and all adverts are printed in black and white only. The advertiser’s logo will also go on the conference app .

Display Stand - $200

For smaller organisations who wish to promote their products and services but prefer not to hire a manned display, there is an opportunity to set up a display board featuring promotional posters and information about your organisation.
