MINUTES OF ARROWCREEK ADVISORY BOARD MEETING February 26, 2013 Present: Reb Bailey, Rick Saling, Erna Bailey, Elizabeth Heaven, Don Delegal, Brett Charbonneau, Amy Nelson, Drew Yardley, Peter Tomaino Absent: Dion Giolito, Jeremy Budge, Jim Bahm, Gary Pestello, Gretchen Hass, Bob Bowker, Charlie Lieder The meeting was called to order by Chair Reb Bailey. The minutes of the January 29, 2013 meeting were approved as published. MANAGEMENT REPORTS: Drew Yardley, general manager recorded on the club and golf courses. The winter cleaning of the club house has been completed. Membership detail was reviewed and it was reported there was a loss of eight memberships overall, existing of four equity members, three non equity members, and one corporate member. There are now a total of 201 golf memberships and seventythree social memberships. It was noted that the platinum and diamond membership program will be expiring as of March 31, 2013 and efforts will be made to convert those expiring memberships into regular equity memberships. Management will discuss what options are available to best accommodate that transformation. As of March 1, 2013, scores shall be posted. Note that this is a variation from the normal beginning posting date of March 15th of each year. Max Hendry, a former employee has been rehired to provide shoe care. With tentative hours at this time are: Tuesday, Fridays, Saturday, and Sundays. A new superintendant has been retained. His name is Jerry Matthews and he comes highly recommended. His former work at the resort at Port Ludlow, Sahalee and Olympia. His start date is March 16, 2013. The first happy hour open to the Arrow Creek residents will be Friday, March 1, 2013. Such happy hours will be conducted on a trial basis for approximately three months on the third Friday of each month. The happy hours are open to all residents of Arrow Creek. It was reported that the Valentine’s Day function was cancelled due to a lack of support.

With respect to the Food and Beverage Director there are three finalists which are being interviewed by the owners and management and a decision should be made shortly and the start date for employment is tentatively scheduled for March 16, 2013. It was noted that Bob Bowker and Charlie Leider will be in town on February 27, 2013 to conduct interviews but for some reason could not be present for the board meeting on February 26, 2013. With respect to promotions, Arrow Creek will continue its promotions with the Reno Aces Baseball Team and also the trade out with Channel 2 News. With respect to the pending sale of the club, nothing new was reported. GREENS COMMITTEE: With respect to the courses, both courses have been sprayed and management is experimenting with a new aeration tool. The Legend course is open with no cart restrictions and the upper course will open depending on weather and demand. The owners are to tour the courses while they are in town to determine how best to proceed with respect to cart restrictions and with respect to opening the Challenge course. It was questioned weather the greens would be cut and again, that will be determined by the owners on their tour. It was also noted that Dion Giolito has submitted his letter of resignation from the board and also as chairmen of the Greens Committee, he will need to be replaced and that will be discussed by the Greens Committee. HOUSE COMMITTEE: Amy Nelson Amy commented that the clean up of the property has been completed. Our head chef Paul has left Food and Beverage which was previously discussed. And it was again noted that a new chef should be hired and in place by March 16, 2013. Again, it was noted that Valentine’s Day function was cancelled due to lack of participation. It was noted that some procedure should be put into place to get early confirmation for events to make it easier to plan and for both the club and participants. It was mentioned that perhaps a discount should be given to those who confirm early. The new: “To Go” Menu is up and ready to go and a notice should be posted in Golf Fusion in the near future. Wine dinners are being planned and it has been anticipated that they will be scheduled on a quarterly basis.

An event will be planned for St. Patrick’s Day. It was discussed whether to hold it on Sunday, which is actually St. Patrick’s Day or to have it on Saturday night, the night preceding the actual holiday. These events again will be scheduled and will be open to all members of the Arrow Creek Community. With respect to the continuing problem of planning events, it was noted that adequate notice needs to be given of upcoming events so that the potential participants have adequate time to plan their schedules. Blake with the homeowners association is our contact and is attempting to coordinate food and bar service this summer at the swimming pool. Approximately 30 weddings have been booked this year. LADIES CLUB: Gretchen Hass was absent and no report for ladies club. MEN’S CLUB: Brett Charbonneau reports for Jeff Albee. The tournament schedule has been set and sent out. A new tournament was discussed perhaps a mix and mingle between the men’s club and the ladies club. The men’s club budget was set on an estimate of 100 members which has not been met. A Treasurer is still needed. Jeff Albee inquired regarding the status of a grounds keeper. He expressed the opinion that the poor course conditions caused poor turnout. He hopes the conditions are better this year. OLD BUSINESS: There was no old business NEW BUSINESS: There was no new business OWNERS REPORT: There was no owners report.
