PROJECT SUMMARY: This project is for HDPE Culvert Slip-Lining in Pembroke Pines. The bidder must have slip-lined at least a pipe larger than 36” in diameter for a distance longer than 100’
in the past five (5) years. The pipe diameter of the existing culvert is 84” CMP
and the length of the culvert is 132 LF. The Contractor will be required to inspect the culvert, excavate the existing canal as necessary, and slip-line the existing 84” distance of 132’
CMP for a
with a 63” OD HDPE pipe-liner. The existing culvert is underwater.
Contractor will have 15 calendar days to complete the project. A Mandatory pre-bid meeting followed by a mandatory site visit is scheduled for Thursday, May 22, 2014 at 10:00 A.M at SBDD Headquarters. Project Documents are available from the District at no charge. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid price is required. A Performance and Payment Bond will also be required. A BID SUBMITTED WITHOUT ATTENDING THE PRE-BID MEETING WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
