Pre-K News April 13, 2017 LLiiffeeTToouucchh SSpprriinngg PPiiccttuurreess Please remember to send your child’s Friday folder back to school with him/her on Monday’s. Thank you!! We had so much fun this week getting ready for our Easter party. We read some fairy tales that were mashed with other fairy tales. It was very interesting to see how the two stories became one. We also read lots of Easter books, and even got to watch a couple of Easter specials that were on in the 1980s. We have continued working on our number writing, letter sounds in words, and addresses and phone numbers. NEXT WEEKS THEME: Dinosaurs

Outside GEAR
Pre-Kindergarten Graduation The Pre-K class will have a graduation ceremony on May 16 at 6:30 pm. Please mark your calendars! The students will still come to school after graduation, this was the only time for us to get the auditorium!
Please make sure your child has clothes that are warm enough to play outside for 1 hour each day. Even though it is spring we have many children who aren’t dressed for the weather that is outside. OUR CLASSROOM IS ALSO VERY CHILLY, SO DRESSING IN LAYERS IS A GREAT IDEA! THANKS FOR UNDERSTANDING!

Jobs Each week your student has a job. This will help them to understand responsibility and make our classroom a real community! I will send home a list of everyone’s job, so you can discuss it with them at home. (This will also help if they can’t remember their job!)
