WHAT YOU’LL LEARN • Interdisciplinary classes have included offerings such as “Bohemians and Rebels: Art and Literature of the Romantic Age,” “Architecture and Jazz,” which is taught in New Orleans, and “Artifacts, Institutions and Ideology of Japan,” which is taught in Japan. STUDY ABROAD Gain a better understanding of the processes used by artists by examining Michelangelo’s “David” in Florence, Italy. Reflect on the impact that Buddhism has on art by visiting Kyoto, Japan. Go on a “culture hunt” at the famous Louvre in Paris, France to see if you can find any “non-French” art. Get inspired by the Taj Mahal in India, one of the “seven wonders of the world.”

The facility features: • individual studio work spaces • a 60-seat amphitheater • gallery for students and visiting artists • digital art lab • small art history seminar room • printmaking facility • ceramics facilities with gas and wood kilns • traditional darkroom
