The BBA auto prime contractor pump BA 300 K300 (12”) is a high robust centrifugal pump with flow capacity up to 1400 m3/h, total head up to 20 m and solid handling of 120 mm. The reliable and simple operated vacuum pump with mechanic float box enables a suction lift up to 8 m. The Enduroseal® concept enables the mechanical seal running in an enlarged oil bath, suitable for continuous use even in intermediate flow situations. A pressure relief chamber behind the mechanical seal prevents water entering the drive of the pump unit. Applications: This multi purpose pump system is used for sewage water by-passing, general construction, site-dewatering and as emergency pump. How it works: After starting the unit, the vacuum pump starts priming air out of the suction line. A non-return valve shuts off the discharge side. As soon as the water is primed, the float closes the vacuum pump connection and the centrifugal pump starts pumping water.
