Term of Completion Capstone Thesis Project Meet with Capstone Advisor
Spring 2015 Summer 2015 Fall 2015 Spring 2016 Students are advised to meet with their capstone faculty advisor at the end of the 1st semester to discuss interest in pursuing the Capstone option. However, students must meet with their advisor at least 1 semester before the planned submission of their capstone project. (e.g. for a summer submission you must meet by the beginning of the previous Spring term) The semester you plan to complete your project.
Enroll in the Capstone project course Submit Capstone Proposal October 3, 2014 February 13, 2015 June 26, 2015 October 2, 2015 for approval Submit first draft to January 30, 2015 June 12, 2015 September 11, 2015 January 29, 2016 capstone advisor** Submit second draft to February 27, 2015 July 10, 2015 October 9, 2015 February 26, 2016 Capstone Advisor Final Capstone Paper March 27, 2015 July 23, 2015 November 6, 2015 March 25, 2016 submission Capstone Presentations April 23, 2015* July 30, 2015* December 10, 2015* April 21, 2016* Notes: • Indicate Capstone (Exam or Paper) choice on registration form. • Capstone proposal will be reviewed by the Capstone Committee. • Capstone proposal will be submitted 1 semester before the intended Graduation/Completion date. • Students will submit all drafts to their Capstone advisor. • Final Capstone paper must be submitted before a presentation date and time will be scheduled. • Students not completing their Capstone in the semester registered should enroll in the Capstone continuation course the following semester.
