_____________________________________________________________________________ Please note that the Center for Information & Communication Technology (CICT) was approved at the March 2006 NSHE Board of Regents meeting. The UNLV CICT will be a multidisciplinary unit, operated by faculty, staff, and students at UNLV, and in association with affiliated organizations from government, industry, and academia. The main purpose of the center is to create and promote knowledge in various aspects of information and communication technology. Prominent application areas include homeland security, e-healthcare, e-learning, e-commerce, and entertainment engineering. The center will be housed in the Howard R. Hughes College of Engineering.
