The Chartered ABS Annual Conference brings together deans and senior management teams from the UK’s business schools for high-level discussion, ideas sharing and networking. This year the conference takes place against a backdrop of nascent economic growth, increasing international competition, funding cuts and an uncertain relationship with the EU. Delivered by high-level speakers from business schools, government and the commercial sector, the programme explores the ways in which UK business schools can develop and implement strategies to expand their capabilities to deliver greater value, quality and impact. Delegates will have the opportunity to:       

Explore how business schools can drive economic growth at local and national levels Investigate the ways in which business schools can deliver value to multiple stakeholders Hear from the Government about its plans for higher education providers Assess the shape of the funding landscape in the coming years Have interactive discussions with business leaders about the key skills and knowledge needed from business school graduates Explore approaches to effective multi-discipline and cross-sector research collaborations Discuss internal challenges faced by Deans in managing pressure to deliver growth and value for less
