EMERGING INNOVATORS WIN SCHOLARSHIPS TO EVENT OF THE YEAR 60 seconds of a lifetime: Nine Australians present their innovations

Nine Australians have won the opportunity to present their innovations to the world’s elite business thinkers and leaders at Creative Innovation Asia Pacific 2015 as recipients of the Ci2015 Innovation Leader Scholarships. From a pool of outstanding applications nine emerging leaders were selected for their achievements as founders of a start-‐up commercial or social enterprise. The nine rub shoulders with key industry leaders, share and discuss their ideas and issues, and present their innovation ideas to renowned event speakers and event attendees. Winners of the Innovation Leader Scholarships for Creative Innovation 2015 are: Elise Bialylew (VIC) is Founder of Mindful in May, a one month global online mindfulness meditation campaign that teaches people to meditate and raises funds to bring clean, safe drinking water to people in Africa. Chris Breidahl (WA) is a Founder of MyGuru which is working on delivering online tutoring for every school student in Australia with a focus on improving education equality and the teaching of STEM subjects with a low to no cost model. Elliot Costello (VIC) is CEO and Co-‐Founder of YGAP which is an incubator for social change through the provision of youth education and youth leadership. YGAP supports poverty alleviation projects across Australia, Asia and Africa. Steven Farrugia (VIC) is Founder of ShareTree which educates, engages and empowers people globally to share their time and resources to promote equality and harmony for the benefit of society. Georgina Gold (NSW) is Creator of Hide and Seek: The Great Inclusion Game which is the world’s first empathy-‐ building, social inclusion geocaching game brought about via mobile app technology. Victoria O’Collins (Singapore) is Co-‐Founder of the Australian Science and Innovation Forum which aims to energise and support innovative scientific endeavours of young scientists, engineers and business professionals. Kate Quinn (WA) is Product Manager of Curtin Challenge, a unique game-‐inspired learning platform, where students ‘collaborate and apply’ working in multi-‐disciplinary global teams developing solutions to the world’s biggest problems.

Kate Weiss (VIC) is Founder of Table of Plenty which has provided over 80,000 hours of sustainable ongoing work for people with disabilities in the FMCG marketplace.
