Dear Students, Projects make learning interesting, motivating and participatory in nature. The students can consider it a challenging act. In the ensuing winter vacation, which is of a longer duration, I am sure you will devote some of your leisure time to prepare some good projects, which will further enrich your knowledge. Given below are few questions and guide lines to help you to present your project well. 1. In the outline map of India, locate and label Ladakh and Kerala. List three ways in which the different geographical location of these two regions would influence the following 1. The food people eat. 2. The clothes they wear. 3. The work they do. (3 marks) 2. Make a collage on India’s Unity in Diversity by sticking pictures on both the topics given below showing the rich culture and tradition of different states 1. Festivals and dress style of different states (1 Mark) 2. Food habits and dance forms (1 Mark) GUIDELINES:  The project must be handwritten and should be submitted in a folder  The Project must have a cover page mentioning the name of the topic, student’s name, class, section and roll number clearly.  It should also consist of a content page and acknowledgement note.  Maximum number of pages----8 (including the cover page and content)  Students are encouraged to use their imagination and creativity to make the project colourful. .
