JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for the accuracy of all financial information entered into the general ledger. Manage all accounting operations including Billing, AR, AP, Payroll, GL Cost Accounting, and Revenue recognition. Ensure that all interim financial reports are available on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Coordinate and direct the preparation of the School’s budget, monitor its implementation and provide monthly GL reports to department/program managers to help facilitate compliance. Complete various reports as required by regulatory, accreditation and academic agencies. Coordinate, prepare, and facilitate communications with auditors regarding the annual financial audit.
QUALITIES:
Excellent communication skills – verbal and written; excellent organizational skills; must have knowledge/experience in Great Plains and Microsoft Office Suite
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and at least five (5+) years of combined accounting and finance experience in nonprofit/higher learning institution.
WORK HOURS:
Monday through Friday, typically 8:00 – 5:00
SALARY RANGE:
Commensurate with experience.
