Golfers’ Paradise
Ian Baker-Finch Woodlands Course (Bintan Lagoon Resort)
Even the most seasoned golfers can find its undulating natural terrain, characterised by slopes and mounds, tricky on some days. Indeed, this 18-hole championship course, which is designed by Major championship winner, Australian Ian Baker Finch, spans 6,211 metres – with five different spots for teeing off. Precision is required here, particularly hole 8, as it stretches downhill before rising to the green. Bunkers, a lake and a tall tree also complicate the already delicate situation.
Jack Nicklaus Seaview Course (Bintan Lagoon Resort)
You’re in for a memorable game at this 6,420m course, which offers five different tee locations to cater to golfers of diverse abilities.
