Research Paper Belinda C. The new girls at school This story is about Lily who is 12 years old who never went to pre-k to 7th grade and she should be at 8th grade by now. Lily was a very smart girl but never had opportunities to get better education. Lily who more than anything wants to be a teacher and help those kids learn. Her mom keeps telling her to study so she can go take her GED. Lily still wants to be a teacher and learn more. She finally signed up to take her GED to go to college. But when her friends came over at night they bullied her because she didn’t go to school!
