How  soon  to  the  next  level?  ASAP.     JOB TITLE: Denver Administrative Assistant (Payroll Division) JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Denver Office Manager and taking direction from the VP of Payroll Operations, this full time position is responsible for supporting the Denver office and the payroll division of ASAP Accounting & Payroll Services. The position will be based in the Denver office located in Capitol Hill. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Specific duties include, but are not limited to: • Provide a high level of customer service to our clients. Written and oral communication is vital. • Data entry, data processing will be principal function of this position. • Accurate recording of information is critical along with an ability to follow proper verification procedures and daily routines. • General tasks as they relate to clients and office: including greeting arrivals, answering and directing phone calls, and ordering supplies. • Assistance with daily operations reviewing assigned, critical verifications. • Maintenance of printer; insuring proper pack out of sensitive data along with proper posting of US Mail or FedEx as required. Goals and Objectives for this position: • Gain an early understanding of payroll rules, laws, and regulations • Become capable and comfortable with the various technological tools ASAP employs and utilizes • Become self-reliant to enter and process various client request including payroll entry Strengths & Attributes suggested for this position: • Very diligent, punctual, and reliable in job performance. • Ability to manage multiple tasks, self-motivate and maintain productivity without direct supervision. • Ability to work in a fast paced and sometimes stressful environment. • Patience and follow through with client requests and inquires. • Customer service is professional and courteous in both written and telephone communications. • Excellent grasp of computer software and ability to self-diagnose IT issues. • Attention to detail is fundamental. • Works for the team’s needs; performing duties each day in a complete manner, assisting in the little things to enhance the work place. • Interested in accepting responsibility so as to learn from any situation and resolve issues that arise. COMPENSATION: $12.00/hour -- Benefits include paid vacation & sick leave; 75% employer supported group health and dental plans; AFLAC, 401K, & group vision insurance available. *Background check will be required prior to any employment offers.
