Bellin College Distinguished Alumni Award Each year the Bellin College Alumni Association presents one accomplished alumnus with a Distinguished Alumni Award. The award recognizes a graduate who has achieved outstanding accomplishments and who exemplifies the mission and values of Bellin College. Nominations from alumni, staff, faculty and friends of Bellin College will be accepted on an annual basis for the award. When submitting a nomination, the nominator must review the award criteria, complete the nomination form, and submit it to the Alumni Relations office. Nominees will have graduated from the Bellin College BSN, BSRS, MSN or RS Certificate, Nursing diploma programs will be considered based on their professional accomplishments, community service, contributions to the nursing or radiologic sciences profession, and how they exemplify the mission and values of Bellin College. Nominations will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. on July 29, 2016. All nominations will be reviewed and the award will be presented at the 2016 Alumni Homecoming. The Alumni Council will serve as the Distinguished Alumni Award review committee. The Bellin College Alumni Council’s mission is to maintain a connection between current and future alumni through scholarship and fellowship. The Council functions to provide guidance and support in event planning and to present new, exciting ideas in all aspects of alumni relations. All members take an active role in promoting and strengthening the relationship between the College and its alumni. The Council meets periodically and currently consists of volunteers representing a range of class years, interests, and professions.
