Volunteer Letter to Work Place CSWEII CLASS SB2 - 2012 Managers
Dear Student As part of your integrated studies in CSWEII, we are undertaking a project that requires you to do Voluntary Work Placement for 1 day a week, WEDNESDAY (1/2 – full day), in a place of your choosing with the support of a Program Co-ordinator from Volunteer West and your teachers. This is linked to your 5 hours per week of Independent Learning and there are many assessment tasks linked to this program. Your teacher will monitor your progress in these areas. This program will begin Week I of Term 2 and end last week of term 3, 2 full school terms with a 2 week holiday. You will be expected to:-
Write a weekly journal of your volunteer day. Introduce 5 new words into your weekly vocabulary list. Apply all the Employability Skills required to meet the workplace you attend Eg; no mobile phones, punctual times A presentation of your work placement to the class will be part of your assessment in Terms 2 and 3. An audio record of your speaking skills will be taken before and after this program to assess your oracy progress.
