Work at home from anywhere in the United States as a Support and Training Specialist. Answer incoming telephone calls while using your computer to enter information and train customers on the use of speech recognition software. You will support a wide range of activity that could include taking orders, basic troubleshooting and intermediate training. Various schedules available (some opportunities may require weekend work). Minimum of 20 hours per week. Those who speak other languages as well as English are especially welcome. Must meet the core requirements of the job that include, but are not limited to, sitting in front of a computer while answering and speaking on the telephone or over an online chat for up to 4 hours. Minimum break allowed by law.
Personal Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent Technical skills (Computer literacy) Experienced in using a Windows and/or Macintosh personal computer
Experienced in using the Internet Experienced with Dragon NaturallySpeaking and/or Windows Speech Recognition and/or MacSpeech Dictate Able to maintain your own computer equipment and both Internet and telephone connectivity Good verbal skills, including grammar Pleasant telephone demeanor Genuine concern over customer issues Ability to solve problems on first call and stop the customer “bounce-back” Able to multitask on a personal computer while conducting phone or chat conversations Pass any required exams or evaluations Pass a criminal background check Successfully complete training and attain required performance levels within a specified period of time Highly dependable and committed to work United States citizen or legal resident

Macintosh computer with Intel processor required for MacSpeech Dictate.) 1.5 GB Processor (or faster) 2 GB RAM Memory (minimum) 15” Computer Monitor (or larger) High-speed Internet access via Cable Modem or DSL (Dial-up connection not acceptable) Quiet and safe home office space. No background noise is permitted.
