In May we will be starting a new Creative Arts program. Please contact Nick for more information on these exciting new programs. Volunteer Corner We have hundreds of volunteers who help to run nearly every aspect of our facility. We are currently looking for some creative, energetic seniors to serve on the decorating committee. This committee makes our building beautiful each month with seasonal decorations, and also beautifully decorates for our monthly celebrations. We could use a couple more volunteers for Monday, Wednesday and Friday in the kitchen and we are training substitute cashiers. If you enjoy movies, helping make the popcorn and serve refreshments at the evening movie might be a good fit for you.

In 2000, the Shaw Festival expanded this mandate to include contemporary plays set during Shaw’s lifetime, as well as plays written during the period. Presented in three distinctive theatres (the Festival, the Court House and the Royal George) in the historic town of Niagara-on-the-Lake, the Shaw’s work engages the imagination, illuminates the past and inspires debate about the future.
