NEW MARKETS TAX CREDIT COALITION TO: NMTCC Board FROM: Bob Rapoza RE: Attached DATE: July 16, 2014 Today we met with the CDFI Fund - Dennis Nolan, Scott Berman and Bob Ibanez – to discuss the attached data request and related information. Our hope was to avoid filing a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request. As it turns out, we just should have filed the FOIA. The Fund consulted with Legal Counsel and indicated that none of our questions could be answer outside of a FOIA. So we will file on right away. In other news, the NOAA has is still in clearance and there is some hope for getting out by the end of July. There is no word on combining rounds nor on designation for underserved states. As soon we know more we will get the word out. Finally, the GAO report on NMTC went to Sen. Coburn on July 10. He has 30 days to release it and we are anticipating that it will come soon.
