Sept 15 (Tuesday): Road Trip – Bay St Louis & Stennis Space Center ▪ Our Hotard bus will take us first to the beautiful Bay St Louis Historic Train Depot, built in 1928, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It is home to the Visitor Center, the Mardi Gras Museum, and the Alice Moseley Folk Art and Antique Museum. On display are over 50 of Alice Moseley’s original paintings & collections of vintage bottles, Majolica vases, Depression glass and antique everyday objects. After visiting the Depot, a step-on guide will accompany us on a tour around town, including a visit to St Rose de Lima Catholic Church, noted for its driftwood altar base and the striking mural covering the walls surrounding the altar, which depicts both the Crucifixion and the Resurrection, with Jesus’ flesh as mixed heritage. Following the tour, we’ll have free time in Old Town Bay St Louis for lunch on our own and shopping. From there we’ll go to the INFINITY Science Center, Stennis Space Center's official visitor center and bus staging area for tours of NASA's active test stands and rocket engine test facility.

GO WESTBANK CHRISTMAS PARTY – Friday Dec 10th at New Orleans’ Ladies Ballroom Our party will be a 3-hour reception-style party, featuring passed hot & cold hors d’oeurvres and sandwiches, as well as a buffet including jambalaya,, pasta, & other selections, cake. There will be a DJ to provide music for dancing or listening. Cost will be approximately $45 p.p.
