Medicare for All – Lawsuits for “Discrimination” Welcome to day five of Medicare for All. The bill’s third promise is “NonDiscrimination” which includes conditions and characteristics for which no person may be excluded or be denied benefits provided by the Act. These include the usual and the controversial, such as race, color, age, disability, marital status, citizenship status, genetic and medical conditions, religion, or sex, including gender identity, sexual orientation, pregnancy and termination of pregnancy. Aggrieved persons may file suit and potentially receive a laundry list of financial relief for their pain and suffering. This means a doctor who doesn’t want to do an abortion or sex-reassignment surgery could end up in court. “Medicare for All Act of 2019 (Jayapal),” scribd.com: https://www.scribd.com/document/400662193/Medicare-for-All-Act-of-2019Jayapal
