Health Freedom Minute December 24, 2012

Why Even Bring It Up The Wall Street Journal discovered the Pentagon is buying anti-venom from the Iranians and wonders if itʼs a violation of sanctions that needs a waiver. Since January 2011, the U.S. Department of Defense has used a middleman to purchase 115 vials of venom for $310 each. I have problems with this article. First, the Journal used an entire half page to discuss it. Second, they discuss how sanctions could limit access, but access may now be in trouble because of their article. Third, itʼs not until the end of the article that we learn the doses have all been given to Afghan children, not soldiers. Why even write the article and threaten the access? “Snake Take: How Venom Binds U.S., Iran,” Michael M. Phillips and Farnaz Fassihi, The Wall Street Journal, December 3, 2012.
