The Great Himalayan National Park
The Himalayas have been a source of awe and inspiration for millennia to countless individuals. They are the largest, tallest and geologically youngest mountains on our planet. The unique ecological aspects of the Western Himalaya led to the creation of the Great Himalayan National Park (GHNP) in the Kullu district of India’s mountain state of Himachal Pradesh. The Great Himalayan National Park lies among the lush coniferous forests of and the snow-capped mountain peaks Kullu, Himachal Pradesh. It is one of the high altitude national parks in India. While the location of this park is itself a stunning feature, the emerald meadows in some portions of the park makes it one of the stunning parks in India. Snow Leopard, Himalayan Brown Bear, Blue Sheep, Musk Deer and Himalayan Tahr are the commonly found animals in this park. It also houses 181 species of birds, and many more spcies of reptiles, annelids, amphibians and insects. Air Port Bhuntar (Kullu), 63 kms. Chandigarh (296km) is the closest major Railway Station. Heavy snowfall blocks roads and trails to the park during December-March. อุทยำนแห่งชำติเทือกเขำหิมำลัย เทือกเขาหิมาลัย ดินแดนสวรรค์ที่ใคร หลายๆ คนปราถนาไปเยือน เทือกเขาอัน กว้างใหญ่ที่สุด สูงที่สดุ และมีอายุน้อย ที่สุดของโลก และด้วยระบบนิเวศที่เป็น เอกลักษณ์เฉพาะของทางเทือกเขา หิมาลัยตะวันตก จึงทาให้เป็นที่มาของอุทยานแห่งชาติเทือกเขาหิมาลัย (GHNP) ในเขต Kullu รัฐ Himalchal Pradesh ประเทศอินเดีย อุทยาน แห่งชาติเต็มไปด้วยภาพบรรยากาศหิมะปกคลุม ทิวเขาตระหง่านตระการตา ป่าสนและทุ่งหญ้าเขียวชอุ่ม จึงทาให้เป็นจุดเด่นที่น่าสนใจสาหรับ นักท่องเที่ยว ซึ่งจัดว่าเป็นหนึ่งในอุทยานแห่งชาติทตี่ ั้งอยู่ในระดับสูงที่สดุ ใน ประเทศอินเดีย นักท่องเที่ยวจะได้พบเห็นสัตว์ป่าต่างๆ มากมาย ไม่ว่าจะเป็น เสือดาวหิมะ หมีสีน้าตาล กวางเขี้ยวดาบ แกะ แพะ สัตว์เลื้อยคลาน สัตว์ครึ่งบกครึ่งน้า แมลง และนกอีกกว่า 181 สายพันธุ์
