NYSERDA has announced $60 million in available incentives for the latest round of its NY-Sun Competitive PV Program for large solar systems. Applicants are invited to submit proposals for the installation of customer-sited PV projects over 200 kW in size. Qualified applicants will be competitively selected based on their incentive bid in dollars per kilowatt hour ($/kWh). See below for more information. Contact us to find out if your New York property is a good fit for this incentive Program. NYSERDA Competitive PV Solicitation: • The current solicitation has been designated Program Opportunity Notice (PON) 2956 • All PV equipment must be electrically interconnected on the customer side of a utility meter installed at a site that pays the Renewable Portfolio Standard/System Benefits Charge as part of its electrical bill. Customers of the following electric distribution utilities may be eligible for incentives through this program: o Central Hudson Gas & Electric o Consolidated Edison o New York State Electric & Gas o Orange & Rockland Utilities o Rochester Gas & Electric • Unlike previous solicitations, projects located in all New York Independent System Operator (NYISO) load zones are eligible • Incentives are paid out over two years, with 30 percent awarded at project completion

• There are additional incentive tie-ins for strategic locations, energy efficiency integration, or energy storage integration Key Requirements: • Projects must be at least 200 kW in size and may not exceed 110% of the site’s historical annual net grid supplied consumption • The incentive for any project cannot exceed 50 percent of project installed costs • Must reach commercial operation on or before April 30, 2016 Timing: Applications are due July 17, 2014 Note: Gov. Cuomo has also recently announced a nearly $1B commitment to NY-Sun and the Public Service Commission (PSC) approved an order to transition NYSERDA’s programs to a “Megawatt Block” structure with declining incentive rates, similar to the successful California Solar Initiative. Look for future updates from Alta Energy regarding implementation details and timing.
