About the conference The First International Conference and Exhibition on Sustainable Development of Aquaculture is organized jointly by WorldFish and the Central Laboratory for Aquaculture Research in Egypt. The aim of the conference is to bring together international stakeholders in the aquaculture industry to discuss solutions to challenges facing the sector in Egypt, and the African continent writ large, by sharing ideas and experiences from around the world. It will bring together policy and decision makers, aquaculture scientists, economists, academics, input providers and farmers, and fish health practitioners, some of whom will give keynote addresses. The conference is being held amid a backdrop of increased opportunities for growth and unprecedented challenges in the sector. Keynote addresses, original research articles and posters will be presented. The conference will also offer space for exhibitors to present innovations, products and services. International participants are encouraged to attend.

Conference paper submissions: • Participants are requested to submit abstracts of up to 250 words • Deadline for sending abstracts: 15 October 2017 • Deadline for full papers: 10 November 2017 • Submit participation, abstracts and full manuscripts online, or by e-mail: [email protected] • Accepted papers will be published in a special issue from the Abbassa International Journal for Aquaculture (AIJA) and Egyptian Journal for Aquaculture (Egy. J.
