The Journey by Nathan Sep 15 My name is Lucas { Luke } Johnson.Where we live you might not even live to thirty unless you know how to hunt and sell things.I live in section 10.I am the best hunter with a bow and arrow that I know of.Every year they chose a boy and a girl to go on a journey with scarey different twists and turns.We call it The Final journey.How they pick is called the choosing.Pretty lame name to me.Its tomorrow i’m really scared.I’ll come back tomorrow from the writer. Sep 16 Well looks like I got chosen to finish the journey.Did I mention there is 24 of us and I need to kill them to win?But if the two victors are from different sections the person who kills the other wins.But the winner literally gets showered with riches.So now I am on a train to the capitol to show the king all the tributes.We all need to wear nice clothes.P.S my girl from section 10 her name is Emma { Em } Cloud. I’ll be back tomorrow signed the writer. Sep 17 Now it's 10pm i’ve already had dinner and in bed.We met the king he had dark skin nothing like how I pictured him but really nice.But now i know where all the money that we could use for oh I don't know FOOD!!! went to. He lived in a huge mansion with everything literally made of crystal.He said that Em and I needed to show the cameras that we really loved each other.I just hope that we can pull it off.Be back soon,sincerely the writer Oct 20 Sorry it's been so long I have just been so caught up in The Final Journey that I forgot to write.The king is liking our love story but he told us now we need to get married. And look how married is not in quotes.So we will have a engagement at the mansion,then the marriage the next day at the chapel.I am really nervous. Talk to you later the writer Oct 21 Today I got engaged I am kind of happy and so is Em.I guess that's all I have to say for today signed the writer. Oct 22 Today was my wedding now I am happy I feel kind of weird getting married at 17 but I will do whatever to live.Em seems pretty ok about it too so I guess the saying is right happy wife happy life ha ha ha.Got to go the writer Oct 30 Once again sorry I had skipped some writings. We had to go sleep in the mansion because the king invited us over for a sleepover. I know that's sounds weird. I didn't believe it at
first either. Tomorrow we start training for The Final Journey. I'll tell you how that went later bye. Sincerely the writer. Oct 31 Halloween We started training and choosing allies for the journey. After people saw me with a bow and arrow everyone was asking if they could be my partner. It was awesome. We decided to chose the tributes from section 6 Joe and Alexia.Joe was good with a knife and Alexia was good with a trident and Em she was awesome at guns we all were a good team the journey starts tomorrow wish me luck. P.S. I won't be writing for a while this might be my last journal entry ever so if i don't come back… Tell mom I love her Luke. Nov 29 WE WON!!!! Me and Emma won let me tell something… So when we got in the arena over the loudspeakers someone said good luck and...BAM!!! A gum shot and we all went like cheetahs to go get weapons Em,Joe,Alexia,and I all got our good weapons. First the couple from section 11,2,4,5 came at us we all used our weapons as fast as we could and killed all of them in at least less that 2 minutes. Then came nightfall Em and I were in charge of getting food and water we got 4 fish and 1 gallon of water for all of us. Joe and Alexia were supposed to find a place to sleep and the found this abandoned cave. When we woke up these 2 foot tall bugs came chasing after us. We all shot them down but we all got bagged up pretty bad. Alexia and I had some pretty big bites. While Em and Joe only had a few scrapes. We didn't hear any noise so we went out and found all the other tributes sleeping so we just killed them then it was just Em,Joe,Alexia and I so Em and I went somewhere and they both went elsewhere and we fought and Em and I won. used to have.I love my son and daughter to death and I know I have been blessed.
