Jr. & Sr. High Youth Group BBQ The Believers (Jr. and Sr. High Youth Group) will be having a barbeque on June 24th, 7:00 pm at the Shields home. Meat and drinks will be provided, each group member is asked to bring a side dish or dessert. We will be having fellowship and discussing our big summer activity. Please plan to attend.
This Friday June 17 "Encouraging Miss Daisy Benefit" The "Encouraging Miss Daisy Benefit" will be held at the First Christian church on June 17th, beginning at 5:00 pm. A free will donation will be taken at the door to aid Daisy Bachtel and her family in any way possible as she fights stage 4 breast cancer. The evening's meal will consist of pulled pork by Fresh Meats and More of Carrollton along with potatoes, green beans and a mouth watering array of homemade desserts provided by some of Carroll County's finest cooks. There will be plenty of opportunities to encourage Daisy by signing her prayer quilt, purchasing a t-shirt she designed herself or signing up to cook a meal for her family. We hope to shine the light of Jesus not only on the Bachtel family but on all of those who come that evening. Please pray for us as we plan and please come and encourage Miss Daisy on the 17th. PAIRS & SPARES SUMMER SOCIAL The Pairs & Spares Summer Social with Mizzou Chops will be on June 25th at 6:00 pm at the Sander’s Farm. All interested church members can attend.
