On Friday, September 14 we celebrated the efforts of our wonderful volunteers with a luncheon in their honor. We have nearly 300 volunteers at the Mentor Senior Center and collectively they have contributed 6586 hours over the past year. Our volunteers make this a welcoming place to visit. We Thank You. Notes from Nick I would like to thank all of our Cultural Clubs for your help with the International Potluck Picnic held at the beautiful Mentor Beach Park pavilion. The event was a huge success! Thank you to the family of Harold “Jake” Wineland for their generous contribution to the pool room. Jake loved spending time in the pool room with all of his friends. The Senior Center used the donation to recover all of our high back chairs in the poolroom. Jake will never be forgotten and his picture will forever hang in the pool room.
