BOARD CONSTRUCTION WORK SESSION FOR 2018 BOND REFERENDUM PROJECTS OF THE GILBERT COMMUNITY SCHOOL BOARD District Office Conference Room July 11, 2018 At 6:00 p.m. a board work session of the Gilbert Community School Board of Directors for the purpose of discussing the 2018 Bond Referendum Projects was called to order by President John Nelson with the following members answering roll call: Brian Anderson (via video), Tyler Holck, Kim Mosiman and Deb Ordal. Administration present: Supt. Lindsey Beecher. Visitors: none present. Motion by Mosiman, second by Holck to approve the agenda. Motion carried unanimously. The purpose of this work session was to come together as a board and to get comfortable with the process and procedures in place as an effort to make a seamless pre-construction process with continuation through construction. The board reviewed the Project Budget Summary document that was presented at the financial construction meeting on June 27, 2018. Board Member Holck and Supt. Beecher explained the document to the board. Before the meeting closed, Board Member Holck asked each board member of any other concerns regarding the construction projects/process. The board will continually monitor the construction process to ensure their original construction priorities are maintained with a plan to communicate this to the public with the help of the communication committee. The next board work session will be held on Wednesday, August 1st at 6:00 p.m. Motion by Holck, second by Mosiman to adjourn the meeting. Motion carried unanimously. Meeting adjourned at 7:04 p.m.
