SPECIAL MEETING OF THE GILBERT COMMUNITY SCHOOL BOARD District Office Conference Room May 16, 2016 The special meeting of the Gilbert Community School Board of Directors for the purpose of Master Plan Presentations was called to order by President Tyler Holck, at 4:30 p.m. with the following members answering roll call: Sean Barber (via telephone), Tyler Holck, Kim Mosiman and John Nelson. Absent: Brian Anderson. Motion by Nelson, second by Mosiman to approve the agenda. Motion carried unanimously. Brian Anderson arrived at 4:32 p.m. Administration Present: Layne Billings and Amy Griffin. Public Forum – there were no public forum items. Master Plan Presentations were presented by the following companies: DLR Group – Tom Penny and Eric Beron, Haila Architecture Structure Planning – John Haila and Sam Stagg, and Struxture – Nick Hildebrandt and Craig Schwerdtfeger. After each 15 minute presentation, the board provided 10 minutes for questions and answers. The board will discuss the Master Planning Services further at a special meeting on May 31, 2016. John Nelson and Sean Barber left at 6:15 p.m. Motion by Mosiman, second by Anderson to approve the consent agenda: Personnel Issues: Resignations Rebekah Hamblin, Co-HS Student Council Advisor, effective end of 15-16 School Year Lauren Lundberg, Asst. HS Volleyball Coach, effective end of 15-16 School Year Ethan Olson, Asst. HS Boys Soccer Coach, effective May 11, 2016 Support Staff Contracts Jennifer Holtan, District Administrative Asst. @ $13.91/hr 220 days/yr, effective May 30, 2016 Motion carried unanimously.
