Multiplex Immunoassay Technology 1 – Multiwell plates are pre-spotted with matched pairs of capture AND detection antibody. Several different pairs are spotted and dehydrated on the bottom of each well. Each spot contains dehydrated reagents for separate immunoassays

Our custom multiplex immunoassay plate – enabling multiplex immunoassays (up to 9-plex).

2 – After sample is added to the wells, antibodies are rehydrated by water present in our supplied sample diluent. PHASIQ’s micropatterned phase separation (MPS™) technology allows for the rehydrated antibody pairs to be contained within immiscible droplets on the bottom of each well. Target proteins in the sample can diffuse into these droplets, but antibodies cannot diffuse beyond the droplet boundary. This isolation eliminates ALL unwanted antibody mixing and cross-reactions, preventing false-positive signals. Our technology enables multiplexing with ANY combination of antibodies.

3 – A wash step removes all unbound molecules, leaving only antibody sandwiches. Detection antibody conjugation (e.g. streptavidin-HRP) can be performed if needed.

4 – The plate is ready for analysis. No specialized equipment is required for collecting data – only a fluorescence or chemiluminescence-based plate or western blot imager is needed. PHASIQ, Inc. – 46701 Commerce Center – Plymouth, MI 48170 – [email protected] © Copyright 2014 PHASIQ, Inc.
