Minutes: SBS Meeting October 10, 2012 Attendees: Bogdan Wojtsekhowski, John LeRose, Mark Jones, Alexandre Camsonne, Carlos Ayerbe Gayoso, Seamus Riordan, Nilanga Liyanage, Gordon Cates, Yang Wang, Charles Perdrisat, Evaristo Cisbani, John Annand, Doug Higinbotham, Thia Keppel 1) Bogdan shows us a very thin ribbon copper conductor. Can sustain very high current density, but doesn’t have much cross-section. 2) John gives talk on the Program Management Plan (PMP) and its implications for us a) See link b) At end we discuss the upcoming Hall A Collaboration meeting and our allotted time. i) Presently one hour near the end of the last day ii) Bogdan thinks we need more time iii) Seamus gives the perspective from the CC’s point of view iv) Gordon suggests that if we have one hour, it should be 20 minutes on Physics and two 20 minute introductions to subsystems with emphasis on where help is needed v) Seamus agrees to work on the schedule with Patricia (1) Several possibilities discussed (2) More time will be difficult vi) Discussion continues in terms of the broader need to keep the Hall A Collaboration vibrant and alive into the future -JJL
