Significant Mistake – by Ally S. Chapter #1 Do I really have the brains? Hi I’m Naomi and I’m an eleven year old girl in the fifth grade now here’s one of my life story’s. Once upon a time there was ME! Naomi Weston and well... classmates but one very important classmate he is the cutest boy in school his name is Mathew Smith hmmmmmm he’s so dreamy anyways he’s already got a girlfriend I think. So tommorow’s the first full day of school I’m so exsited but also nervous I mean what if I don’t impress my teacher with my work I do. Do I really have the brains? I want to make a good impression on Mathew. Chapter #2 First day secret admirer Today’s the first day of school and my stomach is aching like a bunch of snakes are wrestling inside of me. It was weird to start waking up early again and go on the bus. When we got to the building we were sent to eat breakfast then I saw him Mathew. I tried not to look but it was so tempting . At the end of class I introduced my bff Davie and myself to him. Then my teacher showed me where my locker was. After school when I unlocked it a note fell from the slots so i picked it up and read it. It was to me and from a secret admirer what was inside was rather unpleasant but I wondered who it was from and I started to think. Chapter #3 Big Mistake That night I wanted to make stuff for the class but I didn’t know what so I looked in the recipe book. I found a good cupcake recipe so I used it .When I was waiting for the cupcakes to bake I fell asleep and when I woke up the cupcakes were burned like they just got thrown in a 100 degrees fire . I realized the cupcakes took 20 minutes to fully cook and I was only asleep for 10 then I remembered that I forgot to add the vegetable oil. I only had 20 minutes till bedtime. When I took the treats to school the next day everyone laughed as if there was someone dancing on a stage terribly. At the end of the day I realized Mathew standing with a girl in the coffee shop I acsendently overheard there conversation. It was about my cupcakes they hated them my stomach knotted when I got the feeling I was growing hate on him. Then I felt someone grab me tightly leaned me over and kissed me like one of those movie fairytales when I was stood back up I saw Davie
running I thought he was running because he saw who kissed me but someone then told me that Davie did and ran like a cheetah faster than ever before. The next day I looked at a sheet of Davie and saw the handwriting matched the secret notes handwriting right then it struck me like lightning Davie wrote the love note then kissed me because he has a major crush on me. Chapter 4 True Love I soon started to crush on Davie back. So one day I walked up to him and spilled the beans. Now were a married couple and every day I wonder how I liked rich perfect Mathew and I didn’t see Davie, my best friend, when he was right there in front of me. That was the most significant mistake I ever made.
