Avalon Quality Control Policy Our Goal is to have 100% of production meet the standard of the pre-production sample you provided to us. Avalon gives preference to Suppliers that have a history of providing excellent quality across the entire production run. You will need to: Be an expert in your own manufacturing business or business of sourcing manufactured items. Implement your own quality control to ensure that mass production product is of same standard as samples. Advise Avalon before production of any variances in production that may lead to finished product that is not identical to pre-production sample. Discuss such variances with Avalon so we can get our customer to agree to production tolerances. Be able to reject products from the production run when they are seen to be faulty or not within tolerance. Quality Control Test after production to confirm that you have taken the above steps. You must use your own Quality Control standards to attain a goal of 100% matching to PreProduction sampling. At Avalon s Option: Avalon asks that, prior to paying your account, that you evaluate your production against ANSI/AQL Z1.4 Inspection Level AQL11 Major 2.5% Minor 4.0%. (Also known as ISO2859) Or We may employ an Independent Quality Control organization to assess your completed production against ANSI/AQL Z1.4 Inspection Level AQL11 Major 2.5% Minor 4.0% before delivery to freight forwarder. That will be at Avalon s expense. Based on the findings of the report we can either accept or reject the shipment in accordance with that standard.

What is ANSI/AQL Z1.4 Inspection Level AQL11 Major 2.5% Minor 4.0%? (Also known as ISO2859) This is a random sampling inspection method and is the most widely accepted method of sampling by attributes based on the mathematical theory of probability. ANSI/ASQC Z1.4 provides the number of samples to be inspected in a given lot/shipment size. It also provides specific criteria for acceptance or rejection of a shipment/lot based on the number of defects found, and provides fair assessment, to both buyers and sellers, of product quality. We will advise you the key Inspection Points that will be reviewed and how large a sample will be required to complete inspection.
