Sealed tenders, which shall be clearly marked with: ° The Project Name ° Submitting Company – Including Full Address and Phone Number ° Marked To the Attention of the Purchasing Coordinator, Town of Lakeshore, 419 Notre Dame St., Belle River, ON N0R 1A0 can be submitted until 12:00 Noon Local Time on Friday, June 07, 2013 Note: No tender submissions shall be accepted for consideration after this time. On the same day, commencing at 12:05 p.m. local time, tenders will be opened and read publicly at the above noted address. The Town of Lakeshore reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders and that the lowest tender will not necessarily be accepted. The Town will reject any bids not received from Registered Bidders. The bid will be returned unopened. Registered Bidders are those bidders who have obtained their specifications and drawings from the Town of Lakeshore and completed all necessary steps to be included on the Bidders List, including the provision of identifying information as required, and the payment of any required fees. The Town of Lakeshore shall have the sole authority and discretion to determine whether a Bidder is a Registered Bidder. Brief Description of Works Being Tendered Out: St. Clair Road Pathway – Phase 1 This project generally consists of drain relocation and construction of a 3.0 meter wide asphalt trail for a length of 1500 meters. Granular shouldering, driveway restoration and landscape restoration also form part of these works. Comber Community Centre Trail This project generally consists of the construction of a 2.0 meter wide asphalt trail for a length of 380 meters Granular shouldering and boulevard restoration also form part of these works. The tender must be accompanied by a tender deposit in the form of a certified cheque or bid bond in the amount of 10% of the tender price (including HST) made payable to the Town of Lakeshore. The successful Tenderer will be required to furnish both a Performance Bond and a Labour and Material Payment Bond, in the amount of 100% of the Contract (including HST).
