Spirituality Summer School
July 16‐17: For three mornings we will explore the great truths of the Catholic Faith using Rev. Robert E. Barron’s “Word of Fire” DVD series. This series was recently telecasted on PBS. Come and join us to unravel the “Last Things (Heaven, Hell and the world without end), “the ineffable Mystery of God” (that which nothing greater can be thought), and the Mystical Union of Christ and the Church” (a body both suffering and glorious). The series is rich in images, understanding and insight. (Fr. Paul) July 23‐25: In these three mornings, Fr. Greg will explore with you the reverence of Jesus for the 21st Century. He will use the “Living the Ques‐ tion” series entitled: “Saving Jesus”. A host of experts in the areas of Scrip‐ ture, theology, and Church history will share their understandings of Jesus with you. Hopefully this will lead you to a deeper connection to Jesus for your life, work, and relationships. You will once again unlock the deep wis‐ dom of Jesus for the present millennium (Fr. Greg)

In the history of Christian theology, spirituality has been a central fulcrum around which the faith life is tested and lived. Yet many religious men and women are not aware of how the diverse resources and fields of meaning provided by the Christian spiri‐ tual tradition can enrich them and those they serve. The Summer Vacation Bible School reconnects the participants with classical sources of spiritual reflection, in a modern context.
