SCAM IF You have been contacted by telephone or mail to wire money to pay for court fines, outstanding bills, or other costs for a relative or friend or the caller wants you to send money because you are a winner of a lottery and/or other “games”. This may be a scam even if the caller knows information about you or the names of your family members.
