Sustainable Transport Solutions for India – Opportunities for European Clean Technologies
There is broad consensus that European clean technologies and the large worldwide efforts to combat climate change represent a major economic opportunity. With rapidly increasing urbanization and tremendous increase in vehicular population, an integrated sustainable transport policy is a felt requirement of the country. With its high growth economy, India is urgently in need of clean technologies, especially in the transport sector, that can help effectively meet the climate change challenges it faces.
We invite you to discuss which European transport and logistics solutions can be offered to the Indian transport and logistics industry.
The establishment of a European Business and Technology Centre in India will provide support services with a clear focus on clean technologies including appropriate trade facilitation. It thus clearly responds to a need in India and at the same time offers an opportunity for European businesses and researchers.
