3 Rosalinda is extremely compassionate and caring. She volunteers with 3 disaster relief organizations to help people experiencing trauma. She understands that people of all backgrounds, race, ethnicities and income levels experience loss and difficulties at various times in their lives. She has had training from these organizations and is on-‐call during weekends and evenings on a rotating basis.
Ethics
3 Rosalinda has trained her staff to be ready for critical incidents and arranged for Red Cross presentations for parents at Los Ninos, and was able to get each family emergency kits. Rosalina will do whatever it takes to assist the families or employees whom she supervises in a respectful, confidentail and non-‐judgemental manner.
Commitment
4 A staff member picked up parents flying into Tijuana. They had not seen their other daughter in Arizona for 15yrs. This daughter could not travel to California because she did not have documentation. Rosalinda offered to take the parents to Arizona on her own trip so that they could visit the daughter.
Advocacy
3 Rosalinda helped to set up generators in a senior mobile home park during the last blackout, worked to assist sheltering, feeding and comforting people at Ramona High School during the recent wildfires, and served food at Kit Carson Park. She is a HAM Radio operator and ahs assisted with rescue efforts and communication.
Innovation
4 Rosalinda understands the power of caring and listenting. She empowers people around her by respecting them and acting as a role model. Rosalinda is someone you want to have when there is a crisis or problem to be solved.
